Electricity
The station's EV electricity tariff. In Tamil Nadu it is time-of-day based, plus a monthly fixed demand charge.
Service charge
Covers the charger, site, software, payments, maintenance and support.
18% GST
Public EV charging is a taxable service; GST is included in the price you see.

How much does EV charging cost per kWh at Relux?
Charging is billed per unit (kWh). Exact price for each charge is shown in the Relux Electric app before you start.
Is GST charged on EV charging?
Yes. Public EV charging is a service taxed at 18% GST, which is included in the price per kWh.
Why is public fast charging costlier than charging at home?
A public DC station pays a commercial EV electricity tariff with fixed demand charges, and its price also covers the charger, site, software, maintenance and 18% GST. Home charging uses your domestic tariff but is much slower.
Am I charged if I stop charging early?
You can stop any time from the app and are billed only for the units used. The session summary shows units, duration and the total amount.
How do I pay and get an invoice?
Pay from your Relux wallet, topped up by UPI, card, net banking or external wallets. Invoices for recharges are in Transaction History in the app.
Can I get a refund of my wallet balance?
Yes — contact support with your registered mobile number and the reason; refunds are typically processed within 3–4 business days after verification. Wallet balance doesn't expire while your account is active.
